Money for Nothing

I just watched footage of Amy Winehouse at the Fender Strat celebration show from 2005. That's an insanely good talent she's wasting.

People will enjoy watching these famous cats destroying themselves (which is their choice, I have no sympathy), but when they die, all we hear is synth strings and tearful recollections; we don't hear the million late night jokes, a million awful embellished headlines and a million, dehumanizing mean-spirited pictures shot right up women's dresses. (if you're a kid and you take a picture up someone's dress, you get in serious, ass-beating-style trouble. If you're a celebrity photographer, you get a big check. Pricks.)
It's fun for a big portion of the population to watch somebody die...until they are dead. Then we'll watch the funeral pay per view. We'll talk about all the talent wasted; all the songs left unsung....boo hoo. You know why it works this way? It's because it's profitable to make fun of them when they are living, and it becomes profitable to squeeze every dime out of their corpse that they can after they cash in their beer tickets. I have no sympathy for these rich assholes...not a bit. They had everything in the world that anyone could ever want, and they eat too much and choke on it. No one is there to give them CPR, b/c there is money to be made, son. Jersey Shore is a joke until one of them overdoses. Then it will be the story of the year. And it will make a lot of really bad people a lot of really bad money.
Before you romanticize Janis's life story again, remember this: It would have been nice to have her performing alongside Amy at this Fender show. But she did smack, died, and then Bette Midler got famous playing her. She might have been able to talk some sense into the young, amazing talent standing beside her...."Being alive can really be a bummer sometimes....but it's always better than being dead."
If Janis Joplin was famous today, an asshole on Sunset Blvd would be photographing up her skirt while she tries to get out of a car.
And that's all I have to say about that.

All of this hatred is building up. All of these months of baiting people with lies about their grandparents on death panels, their guns and homes being taken away....it all always ends one way. Someone unbalanced is inspired to do something terrible. By someone who thinks that they are beating back the current of change that's sweeping the political system. Someone who thinks they are taking us back to the good old days. Someone who is dumb or crazy enough to believe in what many of these far-right wing voices are telling them. Someone dangerous and dedicated. That's what a terrorist is, kids.

This hateful and decrepit idea of what America is 'supposed' to be is really just a loud, but weakening voice in the back of the room. A voice that spits on leaders from the civil rights era; a voice that burns effigies hanging by nooses; a voice that means to intimidate and corral the fearful into agreeing that things that are new are evil and here to destroy us. This voice is old and weakening and has screamed at us from history since slavery, since we took over this land from a native people. Since Gays were arrested for being what they are. Since the persecution of so many was just a distraction from what was on tv. I'm tired of that voice. We're all tired of that voice.

I say this: Screw the good old days. The days of blind hatred. The days of pollution without any sense of the damage being done. The American Dream that you read about that you grow up to find doesn't exist. It's time we forget about the good old days. It's 2010. And there is nothing you can do about that, friend. Build as many white picket fences as you like.

And I think I speak for every American that just wants us to grow and learn and be the best people we can when I tell the effigy-burning sect of the Teaparty:

SHUT UP. All of you. Enough of you. We're not moving backwards because you can't deal with reality. Grow up, shut up and get with the program.

Wasn’t the point of being a dork or a geek to be the outsider looking in and making fun of the jocks and the assholes that gave you a hard time? At this point, those outsiders are inside that bubble and imitating the worst behavior of those traditional pricks. And at least those guys had the balls to walk up and punch you in the face and knock your books out of your hand. You sit behind a computer or an Iphone bragging and slightly masking your contempt for everyone you left back in the little town you came from. Taking little phone pictures of your expensive suite and your expensive and completely unnecessary meals that you’re conning someone into paying for. I am sick to fucking death of seeing the word GEEK in every bio for every 3rd Twitter account. Or CEO, for that matter. You are not a CEO if you run a Blog, dipshit.

Twitter, for some, is a way to show everyone that they’ve made it and they are important. They are the ones that are supposed to get it the most, and miss the point completely. People are using it to participate in an artificial, but quite legitimate, collective consciousness. Many of the worst name-droppers want to impress that girl back in high school who wouldn’t have touched them with welding gloves on….and I hate to tell ya, bubba, still wouldn’t. The reason you had it so hard is because you were weak and very eaten up by what people thought about you, and that hasn’t changed, obviously.
Get back to using all this ability and technology for a good purpose. There are some bright and colorful minds out there, and right now you’re just living in 140 character flourishes to let everyone know that you’ve arrived and you matter. In the grand scheme of things, trust me on this one…you don’t. No one does. Think of it this way: If computers disappeared tomorrow, what could you do for the world? I’ll leave you with that.

Self-Help Me, Rhonda

I saw a beautiful blonde on Twitter hocking her new self-help seminar and spewing this insane self-help, inspirational shit that is meant for one thing, and one thing only: To Get Your Money.
That's it, really, it's that easy. A $200 purchase that's going to fix everything in your life; every cold shrug of discontent from your spouse, every lie from your kid's mouth, every dried up dream you can't bear to think about without wanting to drive into a guardrail just so you'll feel something.
Well, let me tell you something: That woman has time to come up with this inspirational drivel because she probably has never really had to work for anything in her life. Beautiful people really do have it easier, that's a fact. Can you really dispute that? Her true talent is recognizing weakness and using it to make money. To make money on the misery, confusion, disappointment and paralyzing fear of those out there who were not blessed with money, good looks and charm. The normal people. Those who just want to get along and eat a good meal and get a good night's sleep. Those people who don't go to a bar or a club to increase their marketability; they go to escape the daily hell that is their lives.
I'll tell you what: If you really wanna help people, Do It For Free. Or close to free. Sell that seminar for $7.95. If someone is going to buy into your delusion, they might as well get it cheap. Put it on the Super Value Menu.
You may mean well. You really might. But telling people that everything that they've dreamed of is right around the corner is ugly, and mean and irresponsible. It's not. It's not around the next corner either...it's not there. It never was, and sure as shit never will be.
You really want to make them feel better? Pay their car payment this month. Buy their kids some clothes that they won't be teased about in school. Take all the dough that you siphon out of the poor suckers out there and stop helping yourself. That's the only self-help you're interested in. Am I right? You know I am. And you couldn't care less.
And a note to all the normal people: Don't buy into this shit. They don't understand you. They don't know your problems. They don't like you. You're an object to bleed money from; you're an oil well. A rental home. Stop it. Make it true self help. Help. Your. Fucking. Self.

My mother (along with her older sister) have taken care of my aunt for my entire life...every meal, every bath, everything...for 30 years. Before that, their mother did until the day she died. Do not make this out to be some political correctness issue. I had to watch people make fun of my aunt to her face in every store we went to growing up, and she couldn't defend herself. I had to watch children with disabilities be unable to defend themselves against the scum who make the easy jokes. This isn't political correctness, good sir, this is common fucking decency.

One has to be self-indulgent every now and again.
Proceed, sir.
First off...I've always been kind of a depressed person. Not starve myself, wrist-cutting, suicidal 8th grade girl-depressed Linkin Park lyrics depressed, just bummed out a great deal of the time. I don't know if it's genetic, or a listening-to-the-wrong-type-music depressed, or if I'm just, well, weak and (as my best friend would say) pussified. I can blame everything at the end of the day for my lack of confidence with women over the course of my 30 years, but mostly it's just been a typical male nightmare/repressed/depressing adventure through a series of girls who took advantage of my niceness and played me for a fool, and series of girls who I took advantage of and played for a fool. Both equally as evil and mean-spirited. But for someone who thinks of himself as a superman nice guy, I have shit in so many bowls of cereal, it's painful to think about. Girls that would have ultimately, probably calmed me down and helped me to avoid disaster at almost every turn. But, alas, my younger years were full of dumb mistakes and me taking revenge out on womanhood for the wrath taken out on me by the textbook pretty girls who are taking the same scenario out on me....every single time, back and forth.
Where are we going with this? Calm down, bubba, I'm getting to it. A while back, I met a girl who I had seen around my little space in the world quite a bit. Strikingly beautiful, my friends, but approachable. Dresses much more like a human person than a Vegas Cookie Cutter Design with the plastic chest, lips and...who knows what else. Doesn't wear 10 inch heels to the grocery, doesn't listen to house music. She likes rock and roll music, animals and good food. It's really that simple. But I still wasn't sure about her true nature; I have a serious issue with trust, but I was working on it.
I was constantly mentioning to anyone who would listen how I "bet that girl is cool, I bet she likes AC/DC, I bet she wants to watch Anchorman every Sunday"....on and on. Finally, a good female friend of mine took an imaginary gun to my head and told me to ask her out or I should "consider stopping the annoying talk before I was grabbed by the short hairs". Long story short, I began emailing her quips about bands she likes, or movies she should see...my standard way of getting to know someone. I was quite taken by the niceness and pure innocence that she seemed to exude over email, but that can always be faked, but I just didn't think so. So, at my friend's demand, I asked her out. She said yes.......and...oh man. That feeling is something else. All the doubt and fear are laying dormant for just a few minutes, but they are very transparent for awhile.
I was quite happy, to say the least. Mostly due to the fact that I had just recently spoken with her for the first time for more than a minute.......and I have to say, I am easily affected by voices. Annoying Valley Girl inflection can be worse than a history of Angel Dust arrests, in certain circumstances. But this girl's voice, with the exception of my niece's voice, is the sweetest, most kind and beautiful voice that I had ever heard say my name. I called her the first time and there was such an angelic inflection on the other line that made me feel bad for the booze and cigarette scarred primal grunts that I emit to communicate with others.
I was quite taken, and I barely knew her, but that doesn't matter. I went out and had dinner with her, and on the way home I'm thinking about a possible future together with her. She's not the normal kind of woman I choose: She loves children, dogs, food, family and rock and roll. That seems over-simplified; it's not. Those are the qualities that I have never looked for, and that's led to so much pain and disappointment. I went home on a high that was better than anything I did in my younger years; better than any show I've played; better than any pride of accomplishment. I had just spent an hour with the girl that I determined would be my wife some day and we could move back to the country, buy a few 4-wheelers, build a pond and fish when the weather is right. Cut wood in the winter for the fireplace, do my Father Houchin impression and maybe not screw it up. Show the kids how to pick mandolin and play the G-run on the guitar on the back porch.....you know, what I want out of all this eventually.
You can obviously see how I was setting myself up for a serious let down.....which occurred so quick it made me feel really dumb for all of that peaceful thinking and the good night's sleep. It wasn't her fault, or mine, it just wasn't going to work out. I'll spare the details; that's none of your business. But it was just another passing vision of what I really want out of life that I built up so much in my head that after it wasn't to be.....All my mind said for a few days was: "let's go to the bar and get blind and deaf drunk". Which I did. Cheaper than Zoloft and at least you're not pretending you're not chemically dependent.
But, why am I telling you this? I'm telling YOU this, just in case you would ever read this. Just act like they aren't here. Honestly, I don't think even my closest friends would know who this was about, so don't worry about that. I just want to say a few things to you before I move on to the next part of this big El Camino ride into the future.
You are wonderful and perfect, to me, and I hope you are To You as well. I don't care about what most think about me and my behavior; But I would sit up nights if I thought you had something bad to say about me. You can do whatever you want....there is no script to follow, there is no preferred method....you can go wherever and do whatever you think is best for you. Don't feel trapped; you're not. You're not in prison, you're not stuck in a loveless marriage....if you want something, put your eye on it, take a deep breath and pull the trigger. It's really that easy.
And I have a few requests: Please don't be with men that will be cruel and mean to you. I say this for selfish reasons: Because it's just not fair to someone that would do anything to be beside you every day and night and would do anything for you to hear that some guy is taking some past heartbreak out on you. These men don't deserve things this great, don't let them have it.
I know none of this probably affected you, but it did me, and you must be doing something right to have made me feel so good for a long time, even when I knew I wasn't going to benefit. I enjoy seeing things work out for you, and I truly hope they do. You deserve that much.
And that's all I have to say about that.

Dispatches from Stendal, IN: The Hypocritical Penis and You

What is it really that causes man to befall himself with such bad vibes and ugliness for which everyone must suffer? (And I mean Man in the murdering, football fan, Larry the Cable Guy sense, not the universal distinction for all that is human) What truly causes us to head towards our ultimate demise at the speed at which, apparently, Tiger Woods would ditch his illustrious and luctrative career for some of that sweet, blond poon-tang?
I am going to speculate here...a lot. This is meant to be a series of what-ifs. So, you can call me what you like; an idealist, a liar, a fear-monger, by all means, fire away. I can always call you a coniving kitten rapist and a beast junkie murderer. Our accusations hold the same weight. Anyhoo.
I was reading up on the career of Gary Hart and his run for the White House in 1988 and how he managed to screw that up royaly...with his pecker. Hart worked for McGovern in 1972; he was a smart and fierce competitor with good ideas that would have made a wonderful, and peaceful, president. But instead, he was caught up in a sex scandal, when he, blah, blah, with a woman who blah, blah, blah....same old shit, different election year. I wonder what might have happened if Hart had not made such dumb choices....here are a few ideas:
-If Hart had made it to election day, and the country had decided that 8 years of a Jesus Freak conservative was more than enough, what could have happened? A Democrat in office might have handled the G.I. Joe Check-Our-New-High-Tech-Ways-To-Kill-Brown-People-War a bit different. That's if he would have invaded at all. It might have taken a coalition of counties to peacefully pressure and threaten Sadaam into leaving Kuwait alone. It might have ended up with a two term Hart administration where we could have worked on Healthcare and the declining economy through policy, not bystarting a war meant to be used as economic stimulus.
Who knows if we would have ever known who Bill Clinton was. Or Newt Gingrich? Or George W. Bush? Maybe in the 1997-98, we could have been worried more about a series of terrorists determined to hit our country hard and fast and leave no survivors. In reality, we had all the Christian Republicans going apeshit over the President being a shit-husband. And...spending millions upon millions of dollars to prosecute the dumb prick to protect our children from a blip in history of a good president doing something enormously stupid and childish. The mountain of hypocrisy is disturbing, but I will say this: Watching those buildings tumble to the ground into a pile of human rubble made a lot of people realize just how pointless the Clinton scandal was.
Actually, just kidding; NO, IT DIDN'T. Not at all. Turn on CNN right now and watch for 10 minutes. We have two wars raging and a body count of soldiers, women and children in the hundreds of thousands. And, in that 10 minutes, you won't hear a word about it; you'll hear a commentary or 'news' report about how surprised the public is that a millionaire golfer traveling all over the world had a few girls on the side. The hypocrisy and willingness of the American public to suspend their disbelief and fake their outrage is gut-wrenching. As a nation, we have sexual maturity level of a European 4 year old.
And my personal contempt and anger is flamed the most when boo-hooing for a scorned and very, very rich and beautiful wife who won't have a hard time finding a man is all the rage. What about a young housewife with 3 kids whose husband was burned alive fighting a war that was mostly based on the demonic capitalism that will benefit Tiger and his 'wife' and her upper crust pals till they die in mansions in 50 years. What about that woman? Her children? Who live in poverty while the Support-The-Fucking-Troops stickers are on every other car in the parking of a Country Club. Ahhhh.....painful to think of this, I know.
But he was Cheating on his Wife!!!!!!! The horror! You small-minded, chuckling little children.
So, the question is: Is the root of all this evil dumbness the Sexual Impulses that Make Men Impotent to Rational Thought? Or the Hypocrisy of Men are capable of to gain power?
I don't know....Tiger? We'll give you a shot on this one. FORE!

Oh Fashion....You Silly Goose

Alright, alright, I'm not a fashionable guy. And really don't care to be. There is a certain pain that I get in my lower abdomen when I see a man wearing the newest fashion accessory, like a hat that doubles as an energy drink dispenser or a club promoter wearing a polka dot scarf with a goddamn cowboy hat. (shudder) And I live in Las Vegas, my friends, and here is where the biggest douche-fountains from all over California all get together in one place and pretend that all this fashion is their idea. I hate to tell you, bubba, you look like a dipshit in Hollywood or San Jose, and you've just tripled your dumbass score because now, you're the only person in the room that looks like a result of L.A. having too much soy milk and puked you all out on to the Vegas strip.

I don't have the same reaction to women though, because men are inherently stupid, and they literally are only wearing this fucking Ed Hardy Jumpsuit to try to coplulate with you at some point. If it wasn't for the need to have sex, all men....all men....would dress like my dad. Overalls. Red Wings. Soy Bean Company cap. End of story.

Last week, I had to make a run and I came across a very fashionable woman walking through the mall. I had to stop and gander; not to admire her for her beauty, but to confirm to myself that she was not a rodeo clown. Ladies: If you're wearing a pair of muli-colored leggings under a mini-skirt with a pair of black and white cowboy boots on and a yellow blouse, 4 scarves and a beret, you don't look like you're in the fashion-know. You look like someone who, after escaping from the mental institution, broke into a nearby house and raided the closet of the woman you beat to death with a tire iron......before coming to the mall to do some shopping. This woman looked like a seven-year-old mentally handicapped child that you let loose in Charo's closet.

As It Turns Out, No Rapture...Yet

I had been thinking lately that the rapture might have happened and none of us noticed. I was wondering where all of the support for the Afghanistan and Iraq War went. Where all of those people who brought their Dixie Chick's CDs to public bonfires and openly hated anyone who might have an ancestor from the Mid-East. Or the people that wanted to build an actual Great Wall of Texas to keep out all Mexican people. (Who, 1 out of 10 times, mistaken for Muslim Terrorists in Indiana)

What happened to all of the Evangelicals who openly hate everyone who have a good fashion sense and always taped every episode of Will and Grace. Everyone who defended George W. Bush even as he let an entire southern city drown, patting those responsible for the failure of Gov't to do it's job on their collective backs. And after that, hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi and Afghan civilians, thousands of dead American soldiers, no bin laden, no WMDs...they all still managed to vote for George's simple little head again because the the other guy looked French. All those who say that Global Warming is bullshit created by the Democrats to spread abortion. (Yeah, I know, I don't get that either)

Ever since the Bush machine hit the iceberg and started taking on water, I was wondering what happened. They all seemed so dedicated, even when mutilated bodies were being hauled back to the US and Cheney wouldn't let any press take pictures of the coffins. I just wondered where all the numbers went? I know we had some of you all over Fox News when most humans were saying, "Hey man, torturing people is not cool." Their spokespeople were all over that. But where did the numbers go?

But in the last two months, I thought maybe God had changed his mind and sent them all back to defeat the Antichrist president. The numbers are good again, and just as resistant to knowledge and facts and logic and decency and compassion and peace and understanding as ever.

Healthcare Townhalls, Mobs and the Stones

I guess you can't always get what you want, huh? The Healthcare plan isn't exactly what you want? It's not perfect. So, screw it, let's go burn some shit.

I have to ask: What is all this crazy uproar at these town halls really about? If you've seen the question and answer part of some of them, it has a lot less to do with Healthcare and a lot more to do with a psychotic, purely American lynch mob atmosphere. Say something very vague and blatantly not true (most likely an out of context 'fact' seeded by Fox and Friends) set off the torch carrying people, who sound like they are heading to beat down Frankenstein's monster's door.

And now they are actually identifying themselves as the Mob. They are taking pride in it. Yes, they are taking pride in being an angry mob screaming 'Fascist' really loud, without, I feel quite confident, being able to explain what a fascist is. And the silly stuff that's coming out of their mouths when they get to the microphone, (the magic stick that makes their words loud, like the gods on mountains high, and Kenny Chesney at Roberts Stadium) is a sign of how pathetic, but effective, this whole campaign is. Remember about a month ago, when Sotomayor being appointed to the Supreme Court was going to be the knife in the jugular to civilized society? What happened to that? You literally just moved on when you realized the cards weren't in your favor? No shit? It's that easy? Thanks, by the way. We hope to sell abortions in Target stores and outlaw all guns, including toy guns, cap guns and anything that looks like a gun by 2011. (We're coming for you, bananas. Pack your damn bags, you nasty, immigrant, heathen fruit.)

I heard a sound clip yesterday from a townhall of a woman, with a thick southern accent (I have one myself, calm down) talking about how she is scared about what is happening to her country? What are you implying, mam? She's a grown woman crying...about a possible public option for Healthcare? Really? Nah, I think it has a lot more to do with a new country that is scaring the shit out of a lot of people. People who want 1950 again. People who want gays back in the closet and the Military Industrial Hair Salon that we've become so used to as a strategic economic stimulus tool. We want to feel safe while they make decisions for us. Nothing drastic. No hard truths. Keep everyone happy. Quiet. Hungry for more.

Well, angry mobs....don't hold your breath. The way it used to be is what got us here. I'm sorry, but take your torches back home. If you want to discuss this seriously, maybe, but quit the damn yelling. It's easy to find something to say if 30 of you are screaming slogans. Protest if you like, but just make sure you know what it is that you think that you're protesting about. 1. You love big, fat, government bureaucracies that waste your money on stuff that seldom works like it’s supposed to. Your Party (and way of thinking about world politics) took us into this war and brought on this economic nightmare, and we're trying to clean it up for you. But you resist, because the leaders of your party resist. Like when I am trying to give my dog medicine, your party is too stubborn with your idea of what the world looks like to know when someone is trying to help you.

2. You hate private enterprise that makes stuff that usually works the way it is supposed to. You DO realize, correct, that all of these companies that we are bailing out our private businesses, yes?...that, your last guy made sure weren't regulated....and now they collapsed. Good god, this is just a silly, unbelievably naive and broad lie that you're hoping no reader of yours knows anything about.

3. You love government that takes people’s money and wastes it on stuff most people don’t want. Like un-needed war. Thanks to the last President, we had to use a lot of money to bury dead bodies of Americans. Thanks to your party, this ideology...this way of thinking.

4. You hate businesses that pay people money to work so they can spend it on stuff they want. Could you explain what in the hell this means? What stuff? Try summoning Ron White's template next time, please.

5. You think it’s wrong to put a terrorist’s head under water to make him tell you where the next bomb will explode. Mica, this has never happened. This is the scenario on a television show. We tortured people, and some of them we tortured and beat to death. Frustrated soldiers sent to burn alive in the desert who had to take it out on someone. If you're confused about what's real and what's on TV, maybe you shouldn't be advising people on their politics. And trying to incite fear and anger. Shame on you. This is the lowest and ugliest part of human nature, and you find it entertaining. Let's bring back Japanese refugee camps and Roman lion Christian buffets while we're at it.

6. You think it’s right to crush a baby’s skull moments before it is born. Nope, I don't. But I'm not even close to psychotic enough to think that I have the right to tell you what to do with your body. Do you know how many children have been burned and murdered in Iraq? I guess, to you, it all depends on what color they are. If they aren't American babies, by all means, take a boot heel to their skull.

7. When someone gets shot, you blame the gun. When someone flies a plane into a public building you blame the republican president. No, anyone with a functioning brain blames the religious zealotry that festered after we refused to help Afghans after they defeated the Russians. But I do blame the Administration for worrying more about Stem Cells and Bible study than they did the Warnings that they had that we were in danger. This is what happens when people get a little obsessed with the fantasy that is religion.

8. You think people who pay their mortgage should also pay the mortgages of people who don’t. Nope, I don't, and any right minded American doesn't think that way either. You're just creating this scenario to piss off anyone making their mortgage. That's taking advantage of people.

9. You think anyone should be allowed to sneak across the border and live off people who work. No, I believe that we need to reform our immigrant policy so people can come to this country and live what we promised the world we are all about. I think you just might have an issue with immigrants, legal or illegal. And they don't come over here and take our tax dollars, they come over here and pick oranges, which apparently you're dying to do.

10. You think global warming—having killed no one—is a major threat. Why would you not want to try to clean up the world a little? I've been to China a few times...the pollution is so bad, you can't see the sun midday. Could you get off of your Party's bandwagon for 5 minutes and just realize we don't want to rape our land with pollution? Please, the only reason this is going nowhere is because it's been made into a political issue. The only side you should take here is that we don't want to live in sludge, let's slowly try to fix it, just a little. What is wrong with you?

11. You think Islamic terrorism—having killed thousands over the past two decades—is a misunderstanding. Once again, no, we think it's a global crisis, where are you getting this? What misunderstanding? Reality: These countries are wildly religious, and we wouldn't care what they do, but....they are floating on oil. And we'll be involved in a conflict over there as long as they are.

12. You think the only reason anyone would oppose a black, socialist president is because he is black. No, I think the only reason you're opposing this President is because he doesn't agree with every little thing that you do. Compromise is how democracy works. You don't want a democracy. This is not Student Council. Grow up.

13. You think American veterans are a bigger threat to homeland security than Islamic extremists. What are you talking about? What??? Huh? What is this even a reference to?

14. You think people who believe that a complex world resulted from an explosion are smarter than people who believe in God. I am human enough to not claim to know anything concerning this as a concrete fact. Your pompous view on this is what is destroying mankind and rotting the US from the inside out.

15. Your idea of community organization is to register someone to vote multiple times for a liberal politician. You're still talking about ACORN. Right. You lost, just deal with it and stop bickering about how unfair it is. You might as well be on the playground, crying over someone that got to ride the swings before you did.

16. You don’t believe evil exists… except in freedom loving Americans who want everyone to have the opportunity to reach their potential without government taxes, bureaucracies and unfair laws from trying to make everyone the same. No, I know it exists, deep in the hearts of people who want to scare others to benefit themselves or their ideology. Anyone who supports wars on innocent civilians. Anyone who finds the torturing of another human to be anything but immoral and barbaric. Anyone who sees death and horrible, heart numbing pain as acceptable if inflicted on someone other than a member of her country.
I'm not trying to attack you personally, I am just frightened by how your way of thinking is ripping down the powerful structure of my country through the worst of human emotion, and has killed hundreds of thousands for the last decade. Let's give it a rest and try to work together to fix this mess that we all let happen.

The Press Dispatch: Preying and Praying

Back in my home county of Pike, in Southern Indiana, there holds a newspaper called the Press-Dispatch. In this paper, they discuss real breaking journalism....reporters that live by a true creed and standard. They inject religious fanaticism into their 'reporting'. Which, they have every right to do. Doesn't change the fact that they are bottom-feeding, swill-spilling agents of what has destroyed the face of modern Christianity. If I were a religious person, which I am not, I would hopefully see that these swine; the O'Reilly, Hannity and Pat Robertson fans, feed off of hate, fear and meanness....and they are quite proud of it.

You know what's wrong with the picture that they draw in crayon in their minds? They see doing good as doing right by god, not by doing right by their fellow human people. It's the selfish Christian belief of working your way to heaven, no matter who you take a shit on on the way. They are the supporters of war, as long as it's on Muslims. They are the fearful, lie-spreading bile that fill the Midwest and put the Bush Administration in control of our country. They listen to Rush Limbaugh and helped him take over a party and led the public support for the war. While (you dipshits) he was trashed on high-powered sedative. Do you know how much Oxycotin you have to take to go deaf? Hunter Thompson would have thought he was mad for this level of consumption of a dangerous narcotic. You were listening to this guy. Wake the fuck up. Bill O'Reilly speaks of family values and his faith; He paid a subordinate at Fox to shut her mouth so she didn't go to the press with his requests to have her chest and his penis catch up someday after work. That's a hypocrite.

If Jesus were to come back someday, who do you think he would care for more: Anne Coulter or Barack Obama? She's a mean-spirited bully that is taking advantage of you. She doesn't give a shit about you...live or fucking die. She wants what's in your wallet. Keep on buying her books, reveling in that biggotry and hatred and then wash yourself in forgivness on Sunday morning. Death By Holiday Savings

A Wal-Mart worker was trampled to death in Long Island as a herd of ignorant, blood-thirsty, sub-humans rushed the entrance to get those sexy deals that apparently are worth the life of a human person on that truly, Black Friday.
Angry sheep, scrambling to buy clock radios, shower curtains and cheap, plastic crap to fill the void that they have left in their children's lives stomped the life out of this man. Ugly dogs fighting over a piece of meat. These people that trampled a Wal-Mart employee to death trying to get into the discount store should be beaten and hollowed out for their complete disregard for human life. This would be a horrible and disturbing way to meet your demise, and it was all in the name of saving $20 on a fucking camera. A goddamn video game. Someone has to attend a funeral of this man and watch him be fed to the earth for the price of an XBox.
Wouldn't you stop to help? Did you feel her body being crushed beneath your feet? Why, you swine? Is the allure of advertising and saving a buck or two worth this? Wal-Mart should be held responsible and should pay millions, upon millions of dollars as a punishment and driven into bankruptcy. All of these people who killed this man should have to attend her funeral and lay the products that they saved money on at the foot of his grave. So his family can see what his life was worth. More reason to lose hope in humanity. But....I'm trying.

Chickens Coming Home to Roost

Today has been a good day for the good guys. Ted Stevens, the Alaskan Senator who was recently convicted on 7 counts of corruption, lost his Senate seat on his 85th birthday.
Some may say, "Give the guy a break, he's turning 85 years old and his career fell apart..." Boo-hoo. By the time I'm 85, I would hope that I'm not dumb enough to accept bribes very publicly from companies who I am in a position to help. Shame this monster of a human being. Who do you think you are, Senator?
Stevens is a long standing example of corruption in the Senate; bribes, handshakes and dirty money....all the while, these pigs talk of the grand theory that is democracy, they have had their fingers crossed behind their back, hoping no reporter or federal agent walks up from behind them. But, the dipshit that is the President will probably pardon him....and he will get to live out his ugly life without no justice brought upon him. They take care of each other, these criminals.
Also, Darth Vader is in a little trouble. The state of Texas indicted Roberto Gonzalez and Vice President Dick Cheney with charges stemming from their involvement in the prison system in Texas. Cheney is being accused of "organized criminal activity". He holds some stake in some of the companies abused prisoners...imagine that: Dick Cheney and prisoner abuse. More to come on this...the story is still rolling out.

Today is a new day where we hold these people accountable. We're the vultures closing in, the bill collectors beating down their doors. It's time to prosecute the guilty and punish them to the fullest extent of the law. The time for American corruption is over. They had their run, but we've all had enough. They're coming for you, boys, you better fess up.

Living to a standard preset by your generation is a fool’s game. There is always an open road; a new reputation preparing to be built is one step out of the door. As long as you haven’t truly hurt anyone. That is a different episode of the show that is your life. It’s the episode that vcr’s are set to. The special for the whole family to see. Because you can change the course of a person’s history by affecting them in a negative way. Positive too,yes, but a positive effect, when compared, is paled by a negative effect. So: if you’re gonna fuck up someone’s life, make sure it’s yours. But there is always an open road. If you screwed up, had too many drinks, cried too many tears, did too many lines, fucked too many strangers, caused the few to talk to the many about you, you can always leave and start over. We’re not talking death, here, death is the curtain drawn. I am from a world where life is what it is; this is not an opening act, this is the showtime, so don’t take a shit on life trying to get to something better, because you’re pouring water uphill. You’re burying your dead dog in the Pet Semetary hoping for him to come back. You’re wasting your time. This is all you got. And it’s not always fun, but someone always has it worse than you, always. Someone is getting gassed by a dictator or sleeping on a parkbench somewhere. Things could be worse. But I do know this: Hope is supposed to be an eternal spring , but it more often seems like an unattended, boiling pot of regret that is burning up the kitchen that is your life. Turn off the fucking oven and get some baking soda. Cheer up, we probably still have a third World War to enjoy.

This is it. Elections in the United States change the entire world. And there is a simple choice being put in front of you, no matter how many pundits, politicians, anchors, preachers tell you how complicated it is. This country has a future, no matter what, it will continue on, but we have been less than the heroes of the West since Nixon. Since we were warned of the Military Industrial Complex by Ike. Since the erosion of our culture and diversity by the capitalist swine that represent what we aren't. We aren't the bad guys. Our country was built on hope and justice, love and freedom. But that's not where it is now, but there is a glimmer of hope.

John McCain is not an evil man. He is just part of the old establishment that has put our country on the rush to war, to religious facsism, to financial collape and to a place that I believe, in my heart, that we are better than.

My mother says that this is the best country in the world, but we just have the wrong people running it. My mother just wants her kids to be successful and not have to fight in wars started by old men. My mother just wants a president that actually cares about her interest and that of her family. She just wants to live a life and not expect death and destruction at any moment. McCain is a member of the party of greed, death and fear. He's not one of them, but he is representing them. We're taking our country back. Your nominee for President was a good start, but he was a patsy, and you know it. He may win, but for the wrong reasons. But regardless, the murderers in the White House poisoned the well for all of you. The Roves, Cheneys, Rumsfields and the Murderer-in-Chief are all guilty of treason, lying, conspiracy and they, as a team, have had a hand in the homicides of thousands upon thousands of human persons. Thousands and thousands of them. They hide behind a Christian vale to steal the meek and ill-informed vote, then they run their war machine through small towns in America and surrounding countries assassinating liberty and slaughtering people. I must admit, watching the GOP falling against the ropes, blow after blow, makes me feel good. It’s the same feeling I got when Ralphie, in the movie A Christmas Story, finally knocks Scut Farcus down and beats the hell out of him. They have been beating the hell out of our country for 8 years, and have damn near brought us to the brink of civil un-rest and financial ruin.

They are desperate, and they don’t have Karl Rove to protect them and spread the lies under the radar. All the criminals from the Bush administration are sailing off into the sunset with their millions of dollars. Safe and sound. The McCain campaign looks like it’s being run by a meth addict, paranoid…lying….mean-spirited…fearful and angry as hell.

Sarah Palin said to reporters as she was boarding a plane that they intend to show the country the real Obama. She can say what she wants, but we all know what that was. That was a scary way to say that this guy is lying. He’s not one of us. He’s not one of you. Shame on this poor fool from Alaska. Shame on her to enter into the political realm and bring more of this shameful hubris.

There is a fever pitch of anger in this country right now. An anger towards Obama that is starting to swell up out of the ground and bleed from the walls. All of the extreme right-wingers are heading towards the McCain and Palin rallies and there have been some frightening things said. “Kill him” someone yelled. “Terrorist”, people scream. John is a little ashamed of it, you can tell, and Palin seems to...well, enjoy it. I've seen leaders like her before. But they weren't elected. Feeding the ego of the almighty with anger and resentment towards the enemy.

This country, at it’s best, is one of the greatest nations in the world. At it’s worst, and too many times, it’s core, is an ugly, angry ball of hate that doesn’t deserve a candidate like Obama. Pearls before swine, my friends, pearls before swine.

McCain/Carmody Ticket 2008

John McCain has an ugly legacy on his hands. And I think Stephen King might have predicted it.

Have you ever seen the movie, or read the book, The Mist? A group of people are trapped by an unexplained force in a grocery store, and Ms. Carmody, a mentally unstable, delusional, doomsday Christian wingnut starts to manipulate the masses to scare them into blaming one group for the issue and they turn on each other. She brings out the worst in their collective psyche by scaring them. Yeah, I'm comparing Sarah Palin to her.

The McCain and Palin rallies are turning ugly. Really ugly. Racial overtones mixed with blatant bigotry mixed with rage and hatred. People yelling for the death of the enemy. Off with their heads. Yes, you might say, oh now, people are more evolved than this book burning, Salem Witch trial mentality of torch carrying mobs.....no, we're not.

About six years ago, the Dixie Chicks, a bluegrass trio of women, were accused of a lack of patriotism. They received multiple death threats, were banned from radio in much of the country and there WERE public destruction rallies of their music and merchandise. 6 years ago.
The people that were outraged are still around and are going to McCain rallies. They are angry. They helped to create this mess we're in now but are just too deaf, dumb and blind to realize that they were the ones that pulled the trigger aimed at themselves. (and they can't play pinball)

And this is why Sarah Palin was picked by the McCain campaign. She is here to draw that blood to throw in the water for the sharks. People are so blindsided by a losing war and a oncoming depression, they were starting to come out of the Christian coma a little. Then along came Sarah to rile them up. Start angering the beast. And they are now pissed that America might elect what Sarah (and John) consider a terrorist who laughably did community organizing in Chicago where he and Bill Ayers apparently sit and plotted against America.

Senator, is this what you want your legacy to be? All this hard work to make your country great, and then you become the ugliness, the hatred that you used to rail against? Go watch The Mist, Senator. You might ask your running mate to sit out a few innings.

Mr. McCain, I honor you and your service, but you have let us all down. You have soiled the Democratic process with your lies, sexism, recklessness and have made all of us (including this reporter) miss the McCain of 2000.

The biggest mistake, the most unforgivable mistake, was Sarah Palin. We are not the sexist, elitist here. Anyone that thinks that women and small town voters will fall for this sham is worse than any community organizer from Chicago. The millionaire in Arizona seems to think that women are blind-sided by their gender and small town people only care about religion and firearms and will fall for anything.

For one, it's obvious that Sarah Palin is being fed her lines and they are scrambling to cram as much as they can before the press really gets to her and before the big exam on Thursday. But, did this woman watch the debate on Friday? Because, if she did, she would have heard her running mate scolding Obama for saying that he would consider attacking Pakistan. A day later, when asked by a Voter (not a journalist) what we should do about Pakistan, she said that we should, "Stop the terrorists from coming any further in". McCain jumped in to sit by her side for another interview with Katie Couric to protect her. They called it 'gotcha' journalism. It was asked by a voter, not a journalist. They don't even have the BS straight anymore. Gotcha journalism does not apply to someone that is running for Vice President. The knowledge should be there. She should, for one, have her own view, not yours, Mr. McCain. This is like an abusive relationship.

The McCain people are realizing the mistake they might have made if the Anti-Choice/Gun people don't get out to vote. They took a sad, mean-spirited, shameless campaign and, in an attempt to save it, made one of the most thick-headed, demeaning, sexist and evil moves a campaign has ever made in the history of United States politics. They grabbed a self made woman from Alaska and gave her the chance to become Vice-President. But she's just a pawn. An attempt to grab small town voters and women, because, Palin.... is a woman and is from a small town.

No more jokes about the Straight Talk Express. If McCain loses, after all this talk about Country First, he should leave this Senate. He didn't put Country First, he put McCain first. Shamelessly.

He lied to us all. He damn well knows that this woman is a pawn, and he knows his age could disable him from being President. This was beyond irresponsible. Beyond Reckless. Depravity beyond what I thought any presidential candidate was capable of. And it happens to have been the only GOP candidate that any of us really have ever respected. I'm sorry, John, please get out of the way of the future of the country that you love, and I sincerely believe that you do. Don't stop this progress for your own desire to be President. Please. Be the Maverick you always talked about being. Please.

John McCain's 'suspension' of his campaign to rush back to Washington was completely political theater, no questions asked. This is a man that has watched entirely too many movies (he really enjoys these new 'talkies' that the kids are crazy about) and he wants to parachute in and save the day and treat the American people like the dipshits that he must think we all are.

He was supposed to appear on David Letterman, lied about how he was rushing back to Washington, Letterman called him out and made him look like a lying villian. Which, now, he sort of is. He was supposed to be taking the politics out of the economic recovery efforts, but his intentions were quite the opposite. It was a photo opportunity at the White House, plain and simple. Plus, when asked, the man had not even read the economic plan. He HAD NOT READ IT. Yes, that's what I said. It was BS political posturing, and it, once again, made the media take their eye off of the ball and hurt the country. But he said that he would not debate until a resolution was had. Then, once again, he changed his mind and debated after all, and jackshit had been decided. Does this man stick by any decision? Does he stick by any beliefs? This is like the movie Bob Roberts, except instead of a guitar, the candidate has war record as his shtick.

Republicans have this warped view of how the American public will react. They land on aircraft carriers, like this bad actor in office now, and want to be movie stars and hear the crowds be wooed by how brave they are. That's what we've come to. The leader of the free world is pretending he's in a movie while the country is falling apart. Guys, we aren't that dumb. You ain't John McClain, it just rhymes.

I know it's old news, but I just listened to more of the Palin interview with Charlie Gibson. I had a flashback of Bush in the first campaign. The candidate really having no idea about what the interviewer is asking about and coming back to the same old generalities about freedom, security liberty, blah, blah, blah. We've heard this one before.

Bush ran a campaign of a cowboy who is coming into Washington on a horse and was gonna change the Liberal, taxing and spend Democrats running Washington. He came in with guns a-blazing, but he was shooting blanks from the second he declared his candidacy.

But hell....come on, he's a good old boy. He'd sit down with you, have a Pabst, eat a steak, invade a country, murder civilians, shoot a mean game of pool, throw some darts with you, hold people in secret prisons, outsource torture of innocent people to Syria....maybe even shoot a game of golf with you when the press isn't looking.

Sarah Palin is the same thing. The same personality with no substance or knowledge. She memorized a lot of names and countries before that interview. She is going to be at the United Nations General Assembly meeting with the the presidents of Iraq and Afghanistan. I really think we could have sent Carrot Top to the meeting with Hamid Karzai and it would make as much of an impact. Just sitting beside world leaders does not an expert make.

She is another example of the GOP trotting out the most mediocre, down home people trying to appeal to their belief that their base is stupid. I don't think that the Republicans in the small towns of this country are falling for this. Social issues don't matter as much when you can't feed your kids. I know that she's a mother of five, and my mother is the best woman in the world to me, but I don't think she could cut it as president, she would tell you that. Actually, I just called her and asked her, seriously, she's not planning on running.

The worst part to me is that McCain was so much more qualified in 2000 for the GOP nomination than George, but Karl Rove used the reborn-Christian evangelical, good old boy crap and people fell for it. Now, he's trying the same tactic to sell his running mate. Legacy and decency be damned, McCain wants to win this thing. The GOP elite are the ones that made up lies and tried to ruin his reputation. He should have ran for the Democratic spot in 2004, and he would have beaten George by a landslide.

But Palin was gutsy enough to admit that not everything in Iraq went as planned....umm...yeah, you could say that. For her to admit that mistakes had been made was like a celebrity alcoholic trying to get on the cover of People Magazine for having only one week go by that they didn't crash a car into a church or wake up under a bridge. You shouldn't have to admit that mistakes have been made, you should be admitting that it was a war that was never meant to be won and that what we have done is wrong. You should assure us that you have a plan to get out, tell us what that plan is and run on that.

There have been a lot of military moms whose minds changed about the military once their sons or daughters were killed. I hope that this doesn't have to be what happens for her to wake up and realize that the ticket that she is running on supported and continues to defend this deathtrap that the military just sent her son into. I hope she doesn't have to feel the mother's pain of losing a son to this rich man's war to realize that the path that John McCain and the GOP have taken us down is sending her son to a far off land to fight a war that he doesn't need to fight. I hope she figures that out before then, because she could be president someday.

A Plea to Republicans: Please, We Need Your Help.

After all this death, all this destruction, all this war, all these lies, all this poverty, all this greed and corruption, all this treason, all this torture and murder.... you're really going to vote Republican? Is that what you think America should stand for in the eyes of the world? In the eyes of your religion? In the eyes of the fallen? No, it should not. Please, hear me out. We need you.

If you don't make over $250,000 a year, they could not care less about you. You're a stepping stone. They want you to believe they represent the poor and middle class. It's the oldest trick in the political book. they are using your money to bail out huge corporations while we are all suffering. People can't afford to feed their kids, while we give Billions and Billions to rescue crooks. You're just a soldier to them, or a bad check, or a foreclosure or a coffin being flown back from Iraq that they won't let the media see. Even at the family's request. Seriously.

We do not invade countries in the Middle East to sow the seed of democracy, that's the biggest bullshit line, and come on, you gotta agree, right? I had a conversation with two soldiers last night about Iraq. They told me that it is a horrible hell that we cannot imagine. They said that we should not be there, that they don't want us there, and we have just made it worse. And they both are being redeployed and might be killed in Cheney's little chess game. I want these guys to be able to go to sleep beside their wives with their kids safe in the next room. Not have to kill or be killed. This was unnecessary and we can help them. Please don't vote Republican in this election. Please.

If you're voting based on your religious beliefs, you must realize, these people aren't spiritual. Do you think Jesus, if he came back today, would be a Republican? Would he approve of bold-faced lying to the public to invade a country and massacre thousands of men, women and children and let our soldiers die in filth and death for their financial gain? That's not Pro-life. The Neo-Con Right wing find murder completely acceptable as long as it's in pursuit of profits.

They use God's name to invoke inspiration to invade countries to gain control over oil fields and make themselves billionaires. Generations of Cheney's and Bush's are going to be living off of the blood spilled in Iraq. They are lying to you. They took advantage of the worst tragedy in American history to get what they wanted. And that's horrific. They are horrific.

I do love this country. It's afforded me a wonderful life. But the last 8 years of this madness makes me question my allegiance and pride. We have to take it back and become what this dream is supposed to be about. Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. You can't have all of those things with war, murder and corruption. It just doesn't work.

We must change before it's too late. Please Don't Vote Republican. I'm not telling you, I'm begging you. Please, no more of this. Enough, to quote the Democratic candidate. Enough.

Banks our collapsing. War criminals are running the government. A war in Iraq rages on. Russia is trying to intimidate us, again. The stock market is at dangerous, record lows. And to think, a 72 year old man and a running mate that had no idea what the Bush doctrine is and claims that since Russia is close to her state, she's qualified to lead war invading said country....might actually win. A vote for a Republican in this Presidential race is a vote for the destruction of our republic. A vote for the deaths of thousands of more people in Iraq, Iran and who knows where else. Softball Lobs, Lies and Possible Corruption

I just saw the ad with Barack's 'Wolves' being dropped into Alaska to dig up dirt on Palin. This is like high school. If she's clean, what's there to worry about? Although there is a faint little news story out about how she might have abused travel costs and ripped off her state.....hmm....
This woman has allowed the McCain campaign to avoid answering any real questions, they can just fire back that Barack is just attacking a woman. What really stinks here is that the McCain campaign is the sexist part of this equation. They are using this woman to fire up a base of people who, if they did any research, wouldn't let this Right Wing Nutjob into their house, let alone vote for McCain because of her.
But then again, this is a society that thrives on emotion and celebrity, fashion and personality. That's how the dumbfuck of a president ended up there in the first place. Of course she's a hunter, a drinker and an avid baby-popper-outter. That's how the GOP wins votes. (our vice president shot someone in the face) This woman is our worse nightmare as a country for 2008. No experience, no ethics, religious fanaticism and no plan for anything other than, most likely, putting the final touches on a completely conservative Supreme Court. And she's anti-choice, and that should scare every woman.

The GOP convention and the manure discussed from the podium raised a few demons in my head that had been asleep for awhile.
3 or more speakers actually mentioned Barack Obama's 'community service' and mocked it. Let me get this straight: You're laughing at a man that went out of his way to try to help the community that he lived in? No glory or political office, just an organizer. How dare Giuliani and Palin mock this. What does that say about the future of our country...if you mock a man for trying to help out the people around him, what does that say about how you really feel about country.

But for Giuliani, evil knows no bounds. I consider him one of the biggest beneficiaries of 9/11. He's a liar, a fool, a crook. He panders to the lowest common denominator, the worst in human nature. The animal instincts in people: Fear, Sadness; fear of the unknown, sadness over loss. To use those events in the way that he has to further his political career is simply morally corrupt and evil. This man knows no boundaries when it comes to swill and brash falsehoods and their epidemic-like spread in the modern technology age.

Sarah Palin is a pro-life, backwards thinking liar. She lied multiple times in her speech, and pretends to have leadership experience with the military because she was the governor of a state, and in turn, in charge of it's military. Come on...that's quite a stretch. She is one of the right wing ideological demi-gods that have ruined this country by worrying about what you're doing behind close doors in your house more than what the President is doing behind closed doors in the whitehouse. I listened to a speech by her from a few months ago in which she, more or less, said that the Iraq war is a Holy War. That is not, I repeat, not, a good way to fix our image in the middle east. Next thing you know, they are going to be saying that she has foreign policy experience because Alaska is close to Russa.......um...oh. They already hit that . That's pathetic and condescending to the American people.

One of their strong themes was 'small town America'. I'm from a town of 500 people and I can tell you this. These people with the cowboy hats, string ties and mentally deficient caveman chants do not represent us. They hate us. The first people to take the hit from the war and the economy are us. Every time. I quote Steve Earl "They draft the White Trash first, 'round here anyway."
They use the people from these towns to represent their parties, but the real people making the rules and writing the script are painfully rich biggots with no respect for anyone with a household income lower than $100,000. The Grand Old Party spits in my father's face, my town's face and the face of every person that made that oath to be a soldier and to protect this country.

One positive note: A give a hand to the Ron Paul revolution and the brave souls who took to the streets to show these pigs that we are on to them, and their reign is nearing it's end. The reign of capitalistic fascism is coming a close.

The Real, Moving GOP Video

Last night I watched the video music interlude at the GOP Convention. It was stars and stripes and soldiers and kids playing in the street and apple pies.....I was expecting a video clip of George Bush cuddling around with a little dog and Cheney rescuing inner city kids from a terrorist with an elite group of Blackwater commandos.
Here is what the video should have been:
Rows and rows of graves of American soldiers who chose to serve their country and their leaders threw them into an unfathomable nightmare beyond recognition. They should show Cheney making a deposit in a bank juxtaposed with rows and rows of Iraqi men, women and children's bodies rotting in their over-flowing morgues.
They should have had a scene of Katrina victims drowning in the same streets that their kids used to play, while the President celebrated John McCain's birthday....all smiles. They should show the people outside the Convention being arrested for protesting the gov't that has gotten so out of hand and polluted with Christian ideology and Capitalistic Terrorism that people are living in fear for their futures.
That's the video I want to see. A documentary about what the Republican party really stands for. Money. War. Oil. Death. Corruption.
Well, I have one thing for you Evangelical Right Wingers. You religious Zealots. Pro-Life, Pro-Iraq War-Mongers.

AP reports today that schools will actually be cutting down the school week to four days. The Children are our future? Yeah right, fuckers. The older generations have been repeating this horseshit for a hundred years. How everything is for the children. Everything is for the future. No Child Left Behind. The criminal, Christian fascists have left school districts no choice but to limit education for schoolchildren. They've squandered all of our resources so the future generations can drive cars....that's it. They sent the 18-60 bracket into harms way to bleed into the sands of a desert and feed that monster. Feed the complex.
We've ruined the future of not only every school age child for generations to come in Iraq, but now our own children.
Unapologetic pigs. Unapologetic murderers. I look at the Department of Defense death toll....goddamn it. All of you. Everything is a distraction. I am beginning to think that revolt is impossible. They made us pigs, sheep, inferior. Orwell's Animal Farm is alive and well and we're just waiting to be slaughtered. Distractions of Credit, new cars, new guitars, new Cheeto Ice Cream Sundaes, Mind-Numbing Entertainment. Ufc. Violence. Serial Killer heroes. Churches. Gangs. Preachers and Corporations telling you who to vote for. Listen to them. They understand you. They know. God speaks to them. Just like he speaks to the boxers and football players who ravage each other's earthly vessels and thank him for the ability to do so.
Turn it all on. Turn up your radio and listen to what they give you to listen to. Watch the news, they are all on the public's side. The Watchdogs with the Gov't's thumb up it's ass. Fucking it.
If I had anyone is listening to me, turn it off. The radio is just white noise. The words are just pictures that might make it hard to eat lunch. Smile. Shut the fuck up and get in line.

Turn on your TV. Relax. It's fine. Fuck it. Why send them to school anyway. The less education, the more likely that they will end up in the army. Creates a product. A Weapon, or at least a sandbag to hide behind .

Maybe this was the plan. Whitney Houston told us that the children are the future. She knows best. Relax. It's all gonna be ok.

Drilling and Gas Prices....Duh.

I'm not a big fan of the sometime liberal accusations that the majority of people are stupid. Make no mistake, there is a great deal of ignorance out there, but it's rooted more in willful stupidity than any lack of education. (Fundamental Religious Organizations, I'm looking at you)
But, this talk of oil and how offshore drilling will affect prices is truly geared at the lowest common denominator exploitations of fear. Everyone is scared of that day when you know that you don't have the gas to get into your car to go to work. Even Obama is talking about considering it's impact. (playing the game already, man? Really?) There is common thread of truth to the belief of the dumb masses: Say it first and then keep saying it even when it has been discredited it as being ridiculous and untrue. Perfect example is the gas tax break in the early summer: McCain and Clinton were talking about this wildly stupid idea that every prominent economist had debunked as ignorant and short-sighted. But they just kept talking.
McCain's idea about drilling is simple: Tell them what they want to hear. That's what the GOP is fucking amazing at....telling you, in times of trouble, that if you follow them, everything is gonna be alright. I had an argument with a person on Friday night that told me to shut up because the soldiers in Iraq signed up for the military, and they deserve what they bought. This is an insanely idiotic way to miss the point. Just shutting up is probably a bad way to get anything done. The military trusts the gov't to only send them in harm's way if necessary. I'm sure said person hasn't looked into that.
But to get off politics for a moment, I would like to discuss this blog, and many other social media outlets, such as Twitter. This site is what sparked this argument on Friday. I told this person if she does not like what I have to say, then turn it off. It's fine. If anything, please do. No one is forcing you to listen to anything that I have to say.
I have no delusions that what I do or say will change a goddamn thing. Mostly because of people like her. Her generation of crap swilling, fast food, MTV culture. The idiots that crowd these clubs in Vegas and stand up against the wall and pay $15 dollars for a $3 drink. The ones that wear the uniform. March to the beat of the same mind numbing noise and conversation.
Am I any better? No. Not at all. But, I do know this: Judging people isn't good, but I never claimed to be that good or noble.

I don't like that culture, the complacent blind. The Dancing with the Stars crowd. The Nancy Grace watchers. So, I turn it off. If someone doesn't want to participate in a political discussion, leave the fucking room. It's that easy. Turn off the tv. Don't listen. You don't have to.

Also, word has come out that Cheney approached members of his regime about fabricating a letter to link al Qaeda and Iraq. And it's not even the 2nd or 3rd story on the news. This should be an impeachable offense. But, alas, no.

Iraq War Remembrance Day

I've heard some complaints lately about people like myself being regressive and not looking forward to our country's future. Our country. Oh, we'll be fine. Wanna know why I want the bad guys to be held accountable? Because we blew up a country and ruined millions of people's lives in Iraq. Ruined or dead. We let this pig of a president and vice-president ruin a country's future, and you just want to act like it didn't happen so we can get on with our election?
The reason we have an Iraq war is the same reason people are talking this way. Just hide until the lights come back on......Horseshit.
Wanna talk about Hope? About how bad it is here in the States...how we need Barack to come and save all of us...? They need some hope in Iraq. There is none. All there is is an occupying army, a corrupt gov't, and a big, fat lie about why all of this death was necessary. And, as far as national security and the 'war' on terror, it's been concluded at this point that the best way to combat terror is by local methods, not by national invasions and secret prisons. In all likelihood, we have created one of the most militant armies against us in the history of our country.
I know that you may look at this like cynicism. I call it a pursuit of justice.
But this is just a stupid blog. One dude writing. We had thousands in the street protesting before we invaded, made no difference. Until we change the scenery, rewrite the script, the same goddamn movie is gonna continue to be on a rerun on fucking TBS until there is nothing left of the democracy that I am being encouraged to stop bitching about and support.
I can't make my bills, but I'm glad that I can't make my bills, but I'm not sitting in Iraq, waiting to die.

Read this transcript of Bill Moyers journal this week with guest Jane Mayer. The FBI, in beginning of the Farce on Terror, were baffled by Cheney's CIA and their techniques. Attorneys within the Bush whitehouse , according to Mayer, were bullied and intimidated.

"You can't imagine what it was like inside the White House during this period." There was such an atmosphere of intimidation. And when the lawyers, some of these lawyers tried to stand up to this later, they felt so endangered in some ways that, at one point, two of the top lawyers from the Justice Department developed this system of talking in codes to each other because they thought they might be being wiretapped.

They are still crying about Florida and Michigan....listen, dipshits, she agreed to the rules set by the DNC. That's how it worked. If she had a problem with it, she should have spoke up then. Phil Gramm, a Texas senator and economic advisory to John McCain, was recently quoted as saying "We have sort of become a nation of whiners. You just hear this constant whining, complaining about the a loss of competitiveness."
Alright Phil, you got us. Gas isn't expensive, we are just not on the correct mental plateau that you and Senator McCain must be on. McCain thinks that 'mental' relief is what we need. You are all knowing, apparently, you see that we are imagining this all.
Let me correct, Phil, if I can call you that. There is no room for your rich swine talk. You are so out of touch with the common person, that you really don't see and would be evil and pig-headed enough to make a comment like this. You swine. You evil little fascist piglet. To someone with Millions, yeah, things don't seem that bad. But to the rest of us? Our lives are falling apart. We can't afford rent, food, fuel. Whining? Am I whining? No. I'm angry. Why is Ralph Nader running? Because he started something and he is going to finish it. He doesn't give up. Michael Moore worst of all. Moore is hypocrite of the worst level. Scathing commentary on big business for years, and then letting his last film be an Exclusive Blockbuster release (although widely released now). Everyone turned their backs on Nader, treated him like the spoiler, the Judas, the Arnold.
Oh no....Gore ran a shit campaign and Bush had insiders in Florida that helped him cheat. Ralph is trying to change the system, and does not care what you think about him. John Kerry lost the election for himself by acting like a Republican and not defending his own honor. He would have done anything to be President. Nader cares about the American people and how the machine is broken, and that the death rattle of democracy is not far off.
Say what you want about the man, but he wants Obama to run a good campaign and stand up to the bad guys in a valiant and righteous manner. Dobson: The Devil I Know

Two really nice American virtues: Religious Freedom and the separation of Church and State. In a speech in 2006, Obama told an audience of the Christian group Call to Renewal that, paraphrased, that the rules of Christianity should be universally applied to the governing state in which we live, not determine policy. And, of course, James Dobson, gets on the radio and tells everyone how Obama distorts the bible for his own purposes. Look who's talking, godboy.

Dobson is a hatred-filled political tool that the Republican party uses to court the south and the Midwest vote. I'm from there...I know. I've seen levels of Religious depravity that would give you stigmata. There is no hypocrisy like that of the Christian church. I remember Dobson's kind being referred to as 'agents of intolerance' by John McCain not that long ago. Now he's in the pew with them and handing them money for endorsements, hands down each other's pants. (Shame, shame, shame on McCain for turning his back on decent, intelligent, tolerant people and going into the Christian sludge that is Dobson and Pat Robertson. For someone I respected, he is a biggest suck of them all)

Dobson HATES gay people and doesn't think that they deserve equal rights and the ability to wed. You know who else thinks like that: Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, alleged mastermind of 9/11. There is no difference here. Pig is a pig. Swine is swine. Anyone that thinks that the invisible man in the sky is watching, and that hates you for not agreeing, will do anything whatsoever to achieve their goals. Serial Killers talk to their dog, Dobson talks to the sky. No difference.

Am I attacking religion? No. I respect the true religion of the love of god to thy self. (Thanks George) But, the Evangelical movement in the United States is just as corrupt and evil as Fundemental Islam. We just don't have to use homemade bombs. Ours are bigger and publicly funded. This is an ugly, militant movement that is very scary for many reasons, but above all else....their ties to Blackwater. That's a coup waiting to happen, friends.

If there is a God, in the Capital letter sense, he would not hate anyone. He would not punish a city with a hurricane because of homo-sexual parades. He would not be petty. He would not, "Bless America". He would want you to treat everyone like you would want your own fucking ass treated. But for Dobson to say that Obama is picking and choosing is quite representative of what he does for a living. Can't bullshit a bullshitter. He knows that those skeletons want out of his closet.....and they'll find their way out...they always do.

Section 60 and Their Sons Lives=Lower Gas Prices

I listened to an account on NPR this morning about dead soldier's mothers who meet at Arlington National Cemetery to console each other. They bring flowers and cry over the lives of their 19, 22, 24 year-old children that were killed in this war in Iraq, some in Afghanistan. These women have to go through this nightmare, while the president, vice-president, war profiteers and the pigs in Congress, who allowed this war to happen, count their money and make plans for a presidential library.
All I ever hear from politicians is how we must save the future for our children...why again? So we can ship them off to be killed so we can keep our oil prices low? Is that what we are raising our children for? The public school system is like a garden that we water and fertilize with a lack of money and under-skilled, over-worked teachers to grow a crop of soldiers to let die so we can get $3.00 gas.
Every reason we went to war has been falsified, and this has resulted in their deaths. Why is no one to be held accountable? Why would Congress leaders rule out impeachment? These people knowingly deceived the American people that caused the worst foreign relations disaster in the history of the United States. This is going to rival Vietnam in deaths and impact throughout the world, if it doesn't already.
Wanna know why no one is talking about getting out of Iraq?
Because we are never leaving. Ever.
But some old friends are moving back in that you might remember: Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Shell and BP. The pig in the flight suit should get back on that Aircraft Carrier because the Neo-Con's mission is truly, finally, accomplished.

Stop Calling Us Folks, Gov. Bush

If you look down on or have a go at people who shop at Wal-Mart, you probably have enough money where you don't have to. The majority of people that do, have to. No choice. You have to shop for the lowest prices when your husband is in the military and you are working two jobs to support one child and pay a monthly-increasing mortgage on a house that decreases in price every month. Wal-Mart is a competition-crushing evil empire, but it's very necessary. (Seems like that was the plan, eh) Make the prices low enough to accommodate the population you are draining of funds.
Let's see you buy clothes at Baby Gap when you are forced to buy soda in the place of milk for your children because it's cheaper. Bill Moyers told me that. And it makes me sick. When I was a child, my parents did all that they could, got by, and the Dream served them well. We weren't rich, but they made sure I grew up in a household that could afford basics. Thanks to the swine at the top 10 percent of this country, that's no longer possible. They have raped our dream, they have burned the villages where we used to buy groceries and clothes, they have closed down the mines, given Farm subsidies to those that don't need it and made it hard to be an American if you don't make $50,000 + a year.
There are no more scapegoats, no more excuses. Let's not let them get away from it anymore. Let's stop letting these people in office. Let's make these pigs eat their own shit for awhile. I am born and raised in southern Indiana. They are religious people there. Good people. But a lot of them are going to vote against Obama for the wrong reasons.
Do what you want, but remember this: The Republican Party raped your country. They spent your money on war, let the oil companies take advantage of us all and drain us dry, paid contractors billions while our soldiers were paid about four grand...and paid with their lives.
Please don't support because of your religious belief. These god-fearing politicians use the religion as a selling point; they pander to good, law-abiding religious people to scare and intimidate them. Gay marriage, Muslims and Illegal immigrants aren't the problem.
These war mongering people, no matter how much they reference the bible, are the horror that has torn apart our country, ate up our natural resources, treated soldiers like bargaining chips and wouldn't let the media see their coffins come back home. They broke rule after rule, lied to you, and the majority of the Congress knew of the lies, but didn't have the balls to stand up and vote against it. STOP LETTING THEM DO THIS TO US. We are better than this.
There have been many instances in our history that we stoop up and shut everything down when they killed, imprisoned and murdered our people. And we may have to do it again. Our country is bleeding, and they won't help. They are rich on a level that normal people don't understand. And if the president refers to us as 'Folks', let me remind you: A word like that is a way to let him know that were normal, dumb folk. The sheep that he has to save, and then slaughter when the time is right. I AM NOT ONE OF YOUR 'FOLKS', Governor Bush. I am a hard working American that will not stand by and let the Rich shit on this country anymore.

Hundreds of Taliban fighters have escaped prison and have began taking over towns in Kandahar, Afghanistan. This was due to a jailbreak and might not be an easy endeavor trying to get these villages back out of their hands. I wish we had forces over....there....oh wait. We sure as shit do, but there are not enough. The war on terror is a horseshit and a fascist talking point, and the fact that pigs still use it for their scare tactics is amazing.
The White House, as it turns out, won't have have to account for emails deleted from their servers during the lead up to the war and the Plame CIA outing case. It has been ruled that the white house doesn't fall under the Freedom of Information Act. Of course they don't. In Vegas, gas prices are at around $4.39 a gallon, and people driving around with Bush stickers and 'These Colors Don't Run' decals on their bright yellow Hummers are complaining about gas prices. Bill Moyers made a very good point a few months ago on his PBS program. He made a comment that, even though Reverend Jeremiah Wright's ideas of AIDs being introduced into black communities is, for the sake of humanity I would hope so, false. But is it really that hard to believe? The government, as late as 1972, was allowing the Tuskegee Experiments to continue, and black men were allowed to die in the name of science. According to Wikipedia, in 1966 a doctor alerted the Centers for Disease Control to the morally corrupt structure of the program that preyed on illiterate men and deceived them into believing that it was not syphilis that they had, but 'bad blood'. This was not long ago whatsoever.
Wright saw, with his own eyes, Jim Crow laws, lynchings, leaders murdered, civil rights urinated on for the sake of enjoyment and/or fear at the hands of a majority of fearful buffoons. Why, I ask myself, in the hell wouldn't he believe that.
His Malcolm X quote about the "chickens coming home to roost" is, in this instance, 100 percent true. Those building came down because of one reason...the same reason that Osama bin Laden said; The United States has military interests in the Holy Land. They don't hate our freedom. They hate that we won't get out of their goddamn countries. That's that.

A few facts from my perspective:
We will be an occupying force in Iraq for at least another 10 years. We will have a military presence there for the rest of our existence as a military power, in all likelihood, for the rest of existence in general. Our soldiers, of whom over 4,000 are dead, will continue to waste their lives for an unjust mission, an empty promise and a lie of peace. Every drop of blood spilled on the sands of Iraq was unnecessary, unwarranted and against humanity. These were crimes of the highest fashion, a horrid example of a abuse of power by an evil regime. Fools gold for the patriotic, a blank check for the contractors and war profiteers, an exercise of imperialistic war-mongering, the likes of which have not been seen in America's history.
It was aided by a Joseph McCarthy-style labeling and black listing campaign against detractors, as well as a self-imposed media silence about the truth of the information being leaked out of the White House. An undercover agent for the CIA was exposed by the Vice President of the United States in retaliation for her husband writing an article which discredited the invasion. Donald Rumsfeld, the Secretary of Defense, claimed that war would not last a day past 6 months and it would be of almost zero cost to the American taxpayer. The vote for the war was three weeks before a congressional war as to discourage dissent for fear of reprisal.
And, worst of all, all of these crimes will go unpunished. These murderous, horrors of human beings will get away with this. Bush will attend his daughter's weddings. Cheney will count his money. Rumsfeld will live with his conscience, as will Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice. The United States bought a series of lies, and make no mistake, it wasn't out of fear. It was out of complacent apathy. A desire to ignore what they don't want to see. So complacent, in fact, that the same fools voted this regime in for a second term. They fed, we ate it, and now we feed the ground with fresh soldier's bodies every day.
This war has crippled our economy, ruined all foreign relations throughout the world and murder over 100,000 Iraqis. Someone should pay for this. Someone is guilty of genocide and corruption. Someone has ruined the legacy of the US in the annals of history. It needs to be made right. The President of the United States, and his Vice President, should be prosecuted for war crimes. They have abused the system by which we all choose to live. They broke the laws of mankind. If there is justice, let's make these men pay for their crimes against all that is right and good in the world.

This is the situation: The current liar, fiction spewing, press slave that goes on the record saying that the old press secretary is lying about told to mislead the American people and the press corp by the same people that are telling her to mislead the American People and the Press Corp.
She is playing the same role, and expecting us to believe her that a former press secretary is full of it, while she is as pure as the driven snow. Sorry Dana, we ain't buying it.

I wish so much we could revisit the Plame case. Karl Rove committed treason and then covered it up while working in the president's administration. It is public knowledge. Why does this man get to write for Newsweek and gallivant around the country. He is a criminal who leaked classified information to the press, which constitutes punishment. And I guarantee, if they prosecute this little piglet, he's gonna squeal when it comes to the other boys in the gang.

I wish we could all make a promise to ourselves and to the country that we all pledged allegiance to as children. Let's pledge to not vote for candidates that are going to send our troops into harms way for financial and political reasons. Let's not let these same politicians continue to use our troops as bargaining chips to barter for oil, power and influence. Let's pledge to notice that there is an active war going on. It really seems that the majority of the US population does not even acknowledge that people are dying by the thousands. Civilians, children and soldiers, while everyone comes to Las Vegas and pretends it's the roaring 90s. American Idol and Dancing with the Stars make headlines while our soldiers are forced to kill and be killed. We sat and let our leaders flood Iraq with contractors and pollute the area with enough greed and corruption to set mid-east relations back 50 years. Veterans are coming back from this war in coffins, in mental shambles and committing suicide at rates unheard of while the gov't covers up the numbers as to not alarm anyone.
We let this happen. And we have to make it right. Back away from the craps table. Put down the remote. Turn off the Goddamn TV. Demand that the American media cover veterans issues and not who won the singing Game Show. Demand that the media cover the presidential race like adults and not like the jackals they have become. Doing the right thing in Iraq. Helping to find a road map to peace in the West Bank. We need to return to the American Hero status that the world used to look to. Right now we are the fat, frat boy bully...the villain of the story.
I salute every soldier who signed up to serve his country, only to be used as a bargaining chip for the oil men. The defense contractors. The Bad Guys. Let's demand that the people who committed these atrocities and lied, cheated and killed for oil, contracts and political advancement be held accountable for what they did. War crimes don't have to be committed on the battle field. Most of them are committed in offices in Washington, D.C.

The home mortgage crisis, as it turns out, has a lot to do with Bush's appointment to head up HUD, Housing and Urban Development. He picked a former neighbor of his, Alphonso Jackson, who, as it turns out, has been under investigation the entire time he has been in the Secretary position for HUD. Another buddy that he threw into an office that screwed it up and corrupted the office to a level of which most administrations would have thought the things of fiction. Another rich boy with zero experience. You would think that after Katrina, all of these positions that were filled by jerk-off, ass kisses from bush's past would have been replaced. One would think.
So, this piss ant, as the country is toppling, is resigning. Of course he is. Can we possibly make these people pay for the pain and suffering that they have caused? We prosecute criminals....and that is what all of these pigs are. Criminals. The worst kind....the kind in a suit and a plastic, K-Street smile.

I know this was coming..I was discussing this with a few people last week. I knew that after the primary was over, it was back to covering the White House and the illegal activity they engaged in for years. It has seemed for months like the White House really would walk away clean. They almost did, until the Attorney firings. They left a serious paper trail. Got too big for their designer britches. This is proof of over-stepping and illegal activity. There are reports that Cheney even tried to get rid of Patrick Fitzgerald.....we might be able to prosecute these men (and woman) after all.
The attorney firings, although not the most headline grabbing, represents the most hideous abuse of power. When someone tampers with the Judicial system at this level, I believe that they are traitor to the country that they claim alliance to.
I am not a legal expert, but it seems to me, that, since Rove no longer can fall under the umbrella of the white house protection, can't he be held to the same standards that I would be if I were brought to a hearing before the Judiciary.
Stay tuned, my faith in my country might be reinstated.

I think that, for one, making statements like using “massive retaliation" against Iran might not be the diplomacy that we need. I think that they are pitbull that you may not want to rile up... they were pretty pissed to begin with. Goddamn right, yes, yes, yes, we should sit down with them and speak, no matter what they said about Israel. Yes, he is a bad dude, but imagine how Iraqis feel about George W. Bush? Instead of saying an area should be wiped off the map, we just went and did it.
As a liberal, I kinda liked the idea of being a super power, honestly. I knew my family, friends and colleagues were, more or less, safe. And the corporate greed of just a few and the blind eye of the Third Estate and the media watchdogs have diminished us into a nation on the decline. A nation spiraling into obscurity.
I want to have some faith, but I can't while even supposedly like-minded individuals in my own party are willing to swallow the same pill and get the same result. Bush Finally Mourns the Dead Today

My Discussion Opposing Hillary's Continuation

I spoke with my sister via cellphone (she is far off in Indiana, in the heart of the bible-belt) for an hour on Saturday, arguing, at times yelling, about the Democratic race. She is sure that Hillary would be a better leader, I argued that her vote for the Iraq war was geared to keep her in the running for a whitehouse run four years later, etc. She in no way changed my mind about Obama, but she made me understand why she supports Hillary. She made the comment "I just want to be like the good old days". (Referring to the Clinton 90's, economic prosperity, only a few small wars, no torture, terrorism or Katrina)

If a person applies for Citizenship because their spouse is a citizen, and the spouse dies, the person, if the paperwork hasn’t gone through, will be arrested and deported. Imagine that: your husband dies, and the gov’t gives it’s condolences by kicking you out of your home and out of the country.

I just had a little nightmare while I was awake. If, and this is still a big if, the US gov't decides to reinstate the military draft, it could easily be predicted as the end of the empire.
The young people of today and the people that came of age in the near 40 year gap from when the draft was deactivated will not stand for it. It's not going to happen. War has become something that they go fight....not us. It's your cousin, or your neighbor's daughter, or an ex-football player in a brave, but irrational fit of anger.
Once this gov't tries to systematically start trying to teach this generation to kill, shit is gonna hit the fan: Riots in DC, NY, downtown Stendal, IN. People are not going to let their kids go fight....and there will be mass evacuations to Canada and Mexico..shit, trying to build a wall to keep them out? Gonna be the other way around.
And the worst part, in my mind, is that these people who voted for this president and his regime twice actually believe in this Armageddon shit. They believe that they world is going to be over fun with flying bug-men and fire dragon-beasts. They want Armageddon, they pray for it.
There will be no monster, demons or gods. Just bombs and a lot of death and destruction and the end of the great experiment that I call my country. We fought for a garden of Eden, a paradise, and we've destroyed it because of people that think a Garden of Eden was a real location and not just an ideal, much like Alice's land of wonder or Oz.

I am watching this documentary right now......I can't believe I didn't know this.
The state of Florida hired an independent company to gather the names of convicted felons and pull them off of the voter registration list. This was a systematic method to get people off of the lists that would have voted against our current 'president'.
The 2000 election was hijacked at the highest levels by the brother governor of Florida, Karl Rove and the right wing media.

I spend a great deal of my time being angry about what is going on in the U.S.: Power and Money Grubbing Contractors, Evil Religious Zealots, Celebrity obsession, poverty, mis-information....and I've decided that I should probably start writing about it. I am a former reporter who ended up at a .com after a move to Vegas. But I'm sick of not having any outlet for complaining and protest, so: Here We Be. Fuckers.
